Our department serves in applications related to the following departments.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery:
It is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the treatment of inflammatory and tumoral disorders of the oral cavity, jaw bones and teeth, and the treatment of developmental disorders of the maxillofacial region. After dental education, specialty training requires 4 years of detailed practical and theoretical training.
This specialty includes the following treatments:
- Extractions of impacted wisdom teeth and impacted canine teeth
- In-bone implant applications
- Preparation of the mouth for prosthesis with pre-prosthetic surgery
- Follow-up and treatment of precancerous lesions in the soft tissues of the mouth and gingiva.
